Regulation on the Marketing of Fruit Plant Propagating Material and Fruit Plants Intended for Fruit Production.

This Regulation prescribes: the type of fruit that can be certified and the certification requirements of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants; categories for each type and conditions for each category in terms of origin, variety and authenticity of the substrate and vegetative development and health; genera, species and hybrids that are defined by this Regulation; conditions of production of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants, conditions and procedure for supervision and control under official supervision for certain species and certain categories of plant propagating material and fruit plants; the conditions for authorizing persons to conduct surveillance; conditions to be met by suppliers of propagating planting materials and seedlings; manner and time of application for monitoring, supervision of laboratories; forms and documents, content, form and manner of keeping records of issued certificates of planting material; the methods and subsequent implementation of control for certain types of plants, the methods for packaging, sealing and labelling of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants; terms of trade of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants in the wholesale and retail trade; documents that must accompany the importation of propagating material and fruit plants; conditions for imports and marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants in terms of packaging, sealing and labelling and the method of keeping records.
