Abstract
This Regulation provides conditions for: certification of agricultural vine planting material; categories and requirements for each category in terms of origin, variety and authenticity of the substrate and vegetative development and health status, conditions for the production of planting materials, conditions and procedure for surveillance and control under official supervision for each category of plant material; conditions for authorizing persons to conduct surveillance; conditions to be met by suppliers of planting materials, methods and time of application for monitoring, supervision of laboratories; forms and documents, content, form and way of keeping records of issued certificates; methods and subsequent implementation of control, the methods for packaging, sealing and labelling of planting material; terms of trade of planting material at wholesale and retail trade; documents that must accompany the imports of planting material and/or packaging standards; for the import and marketing of propagating material in terms of packaging, sealing and labelling.

This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2008.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the provisions of the Regulation on technical supervision over the production of planting material (Official Gazette 51/99, 128/00 60/01 and 53/04) and the Regulation on the quality of planting material , methods for packaging, sealing, labelling and conditions for keeping planting material (Official Gazette 56/99, 140/99, 128/00, 2/05) in part related to the propagating grapevine material will be no longer in use.
