Regulation on measures to adapt the requirements of the Regulations on foodstuffs of animal origin.

This Regulation prescribes the rules to be observed and implemented on the territory of the Croatian Republic in order to adjust to the requirements specified by Regulations of the European Union on food of animal origin.
This Regulation further: defines specific requirements for the construction, decoration and furnishing of facilities dealing with food of animal origin which are subject to approval; allows the application of traditional methods at every stage of production, processing or distribution of food of animal origin; and sets help issues regarding the special geographical constraints in food production areas.
This text transposes the provisions contained in the following documents: Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin; its amending Commission Regulation (EU) no. 218/2014; Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, and its amending European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no. 219/2009; Regulation (EC) No. 2074/2005 of 5 December 2005 establishing the implementing measures for certain products under Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 of the European Parliament and the Council on the organization of official controls under the terms of the Regulation (EC) No. 854/2004.
