Abstract
This Regulation here determines the necessary method of acquiring and verifying knowledge about protection against dangerous chemicals for workers before starting work with dangerous chemicals, as well as additional knowledge acquisition of workers about protection against dangerous chemicals during work. Workers who handle dangerous chemicals acquire knowledge about protection against dangerous chemicals at courses, namely: for direct executors of work with dangerous chemicals, for persons responsible for working with dangerous chemicals in legal entities and for persons responsible for working with dangerous chemicals employed by natural persons. Hazardous chemicals are considered to be: chemicals that are classified into one of the following hazard categories: acute toxicity of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th categories; corrosive 1st category, subcategories 1.A and 1.B; severe eye injuries of the 1st category; hypersensitivity of the airways of the 1st category, subcategories 1.A and 1.B; mutagenicity of 1.A, 1.B and 2. categories; 1.A, 1.B and 2. category carcinogenicity; reproductive toxicity of 1.A, 1.B and 2. categories; specific toxicity for target organs – single exposure of category 1 and 2; specific target organ toxicity – category 1 repeated exposure and category 1 aspiration toxicity.
