Abstract
This Regulation prescribes quality requirements for the production and the placing on the market of unifloral honey.
Honey can be tagged with the name “unifloral” (or a particular plant variety), if the insoluble sediment contains at least 45% of pollen grains of the same plant species.
This Regulation contains a list with plant varieties that can be used to tag the particular specie of honey (unifloral honey).
To determine product compliance with quality requirements prescribed in this Regulation and for the purpose of official controls, methods prescribed in the Regulations on honey (Official Gazette 93/09) will be used.
