Regulation on the register of environmental pollutants.

This Regulation determines the mandatory content and manner of keeping the register of environmental pollutants, obligors of data submission, manner, methodology and deadlines for collecting and submitting data on emissions or discharges, transfers and disposal of pollutants in the environment and waste, data on the polluter, operator, organizational unit within the polluter, deadline and manner of informing the public, manner of checking and ensuring the quality of data submitted and kept in the register, deadline for keeping registers from which data were submitted, performing professional activities of register management and other related issues. This text ensures the implementation of rules contained in the Regulation (EC) No. 166/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the establishment of a European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register and amending Council Directives 91/689/EEC and 96/61/EC. the register of environmental pollution contents shall be used to ensure timeliness, transparency, accuracy, consistency, comparability and completeness of data required for reporting on emissions of pollutants into environmental components as well as the generation and transfer of waste off-site and waste management in accordance with regulations governing environmental protection, air, waste and water and waste management.
