Regulation on Traceability Requirements for Animal Origin Food.

This Regulation provides necessary standards and requirements for the traceability of foods of animal origin, to be met by business operators in the food related activities.
Subjects in the food business and legal operators must ensure that where food is supplied, upon request, the competent authority can have the following information in respect of the consignment of food of animal origin: a) an accurate description of the food; b) the volume of the amount of food; c) the name and address of the operator that is handling the related food; d) the name and address of the supplier (if different from the subject that is distributing) in the food business from which the food is deriving; e) the name and address of the food business where food will be shipped; f) the name and address of the recipient (the owner) if different from the subject in the food business where food will arrive; g) information on the lot, batch or shipment, as applicable; h) exact date of shipment.
