Abstract
This Decree regulates the operation of water supply, sewerage companies and wastewater purification and disposal. Articles 2-5 deal with rules to be applied to drinking-water supply companies and Articles 6-10 govern sewerage companies. Operational rules (technical and safety requirements, public health standards and water quality controls) should be elaborated by these companies. Quality standards and other environmental requirements for purified and non-purified wastewater disposal, on agricultural land in particular, are specified in Article 10. The territorially competent water authority monitors compliance with these provisions.
