Abstract
The prevention of and protection against enzootic bovine leucosis (EBL) is mandatory in every cattle stock. Preventive actions are managed and supervised by the territorially competent food-chain safety and animal health office. Cattle stocks must be classified as free from or infected with EBL by the chief district veterinarian. General provisions are contained in Articles 2-5. The methods of prevention are listed in Article 6. Situation reports must be sent to the Ministry every six months.
