Abstract
This Decree sets regulations on international trade of wild animal and plant species, as well as parts and derivates thereof. Any import and export of these which are listed in the Washington Convention/CITES list - are only permitted through authorization. The governing authority is the minister in charge of nature conservation. Other acting authorities are the county level governmental offices and the National Inspectorate for Environment and Nature. This Decree contains provisions also with regard to obligation of notification of import or export of any species present in list A and B of the EU regulation, marking of specimen, certification of origin, keeping of breed book, registration of certificates and authorizations and sanctions for offenders.
