Decree No. 43 of 2010 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the rules of plant protection activities.

This Decree sets out, among others, the duty of farmers to protect plants in general, and against some specific pests and infesting weeds, the rules of utilization of pesticides in open and closed spaces (green houses, crop storing houses, etc.), requisites of qualification of the persons using pesticides, rules of marketing, authorization, packaging, quality certification, registration, and reporting. The Decree contains also rules regarding agricultural machines and rules of working safety in plant protection, rules of plant protecting methods (seed-dressing, treatments with gas, etc.), waste management.
