Abstract
This Government Regulation, consisting of 39 articles divided into ten Chapters, regulates the Domestic Waste Management and similar waste. It specifies the procedures and the setting of waste management aiming to: keep the preservation of the environment and public health; and turn garbage into a resource. This Government regulation includes arrangements on: policy and waste management strategy; implementation of waste management; compensation; development and application of technology; information system; role of the community; and coaching. The implementation of waste management includes: waste reduction; and the handling of waste.
