Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, in order to implement the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (5) of Minister of Health Regulation no. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements, describes procedures for monitoring the quality of drinking water, through internal and external supervision, required to drinking water operators, providing water for commercial purposes and performed by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency. The Regulation concerns: criteria and indicators of water pollution; monitoring procedures; sanitation inspections and their frequency; analysis of laboratory test results; supervision and governmental responsibilities; financial resources for implementing external monitoring.
