Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, implementing provisions of Article 189 paragraph (7), Article 217 paragraph (7), and Article 222 paragraph (2) of Government Regulation Number 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Spatial Planning, provides for ensuring the implementation of business activities in marine space management. The Regulation defines the following relevant terms: coastal area management; patrolling activity; environmental impact and damage; zoning; land reclamation; conformity of marine space utilisation activities; coastal area and small islands zoning plan; marine protected area; marine spatial planning. Matters covered by this Regulation include: surveillance of marine area; supervision and monitoring activities; control of territorial sea, archipelagic waters; scope of supervision including: management of marine natural tourism in marine protected areas, salt production, utilisation of marine water for energy purposes, utilisation of sea sand; environmental audit in marine spatial planning.
