Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, implementing provisions of Article 5 paragraph (7), Article 12 paragraph (5), Article 15 paragraph (5), and Article 21 paragraph (7) of the Government Regulation no. 26 of 2023 concerning Management of Sedimentation Results at Sea, concerns procedures for preparing planning documents for management and utilisation of sedimentation results in the form of sea sand at sea, reports on the realisation of the volume of transportation and placement of sedimentation results at sea, requests for sedimentation results at sea to meet domestic and export needs, and procedures for implementing monitoring and evaluation framework. The Regulation defines the following relevant terms: sedimentation results in the sea, as sediments in the form of natural materials formed by weathering and erosion processes; control and utilisation of sedimentation results; non-tax state revenue. Matters covered by this Regulation include: planning activity, including: efforts to control erosion, plan for utilisation of sedimentation results in the sea, coastal and marine ecosystem rehabilitation plans, collecting data and information; control activity, including issuance of mining permits, control of quality of sea water; reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
