Abstract
These Regulations provide for the introduction of a licence system for the aerial application of fertilizers to forests. Such licence shall be granted by the Minister for Agriculture and Food, who may attach conditions to the licence. An application shall be accompanied by various documents and a map showing zones that shall be excluded from application of aerial application of fertilizers. The Regulations also lay down rules for the protection of exclusion zones such as aquatic zones, European sites and protected areas designated as such under the Wildlife Act and prohibits aerial application during specified weather conditions.
