Abstract
These Regulations concern the transport of live animals and related operations, insofar as they relate to the Department of Agriculture and Food. The Regulations prohibit the transportation of animals if not authorized: (a) for the purposes of Article 10(1) of the Animal Transport Regulation (Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005); or (b) in the case of a long journey, for the purposes of Article 11(1) of the Regulation.
