European Communities (Authorization, Placing on the Market, Use and Control of Biocidal Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 (S.I. No. 35 of 2008).

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Authorization, Placing on the Market, Use and Control of Biocidal Products) Regulations 2001 so as to give effect to Commission Directive 2006/140/EC and Commission Directive 2007/20/EC amending Directive 98/8/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. The Directives here implemented include dichlofluanid as an active substance in Annex 1 and sulfuryl fluoride as an active substance in Annex 1 of that Directive. Annex 1 contains a list of active substances with requirements agreed at Community level for inclusion in biocidal products.
