Abstract
These Regulations amend the European Communities Merchant Shipping (Port State Control) Regulations, 1998 so as to require Member States of the European Communities to give more detailed information in relation to ships which are detained or refused access taking into account amendments to the Conventions, Protocols, Codes and Resolutions of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and developments within the Paris Memorandum of Understanding. Members States are also required to publish this information on a monthly basis.
