Waste Management (Collection Permit) Regulations, 2007 (S.I. No. 820 of 2007).

These Regulations set out procedures for the making of applications for waste collection permits including a permit for the purposes of section 34 of the Waste Management Act, 1996. The Regulations also provide rules relative to public consultation, consideration by local authorities of submissions in relation to permit applications, and the grant, refusal and review of collection permits by local authorities. The Regulations give effect to a number of Community legislation and they prescribe offences for the purpose of section 34(5) of the Act.
