Abstract
These Rules are framed in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986). They contain provisions in respect of term of office of members of the Technical Advisory Committee (Committee), Secretary to the Committee, resignation and removal of Chairman or members of the Committee. They provide for filling up of vacancies, time and place of meetings of the Committee, quorum, and constituting sub-committees. The form I which every establishment must maintain register in respect of children employed is provided and requirement of certificate of age is laid down.
