Abstract
This Resolution, consisting of 9 articles, establishes that (i) the Public Company for Animal Services will announce, in the Official Gazette, the period during which fishing is prohibited across all provinces, excluding aquaculture and sea fish; (ii) the use of mass extermination methods in fishing, such as explosives, chemicals, and electric power, is strictly prohibited; and (iii) these prohibitions apply to individuals leasing water bodies. Violations of this Resolution will result in fines, with proceeds from confiscated fish sales allocated as follows: 10% to informants (unless already compensated), 10% to the Ministry of Finance, 10% as incentives for Ministry of Agriculture staff, 40% to personnel responsible for enforcing violations, 10% to supporting agencies assisting in transfer processes, and 10% for purchasing and maintaining enforcement-related equipment and vehicles.
