Abstract
This Regulation provides for the structure, duties and the procedure on setting out the meetings of the High Council for Health and Food Security. The Council is responsible for creating and implementing policies to enhance health and food safety, particularly concerning imported and exported food products. It sets and monitors key health and food security indicators, approves national health standards for major development projects, and coordinates among relevant executive agencies. The council also ensures quality control of agricultural and animal products to protect public health, with the Ministry of Health tasked with inspecting market products for chemical pollutants and preventing the distribution of non-compliant substances.
