Abstract
This Regulation applies on different kind of species including wildlife, local and non local wildlife, endangered extinction, protected wildlife, harmful wildlife and normal ones. The Department of Environment is in charge to execute the regulations on hunting and fisheries that are issued annually by the High Council of Protection of Environment. The Regulation provides for license issuing for the hunting and fishing based on individual or collective application. The areas of forests, fields, water and mountains that are open to hunting should be determined by the Department of Environment. The Regulation further provides for penalties in case of non-licensed hunting, export, import, transport and taxidermy of wildlife. The Department of Environment should also observe production and reproduction of animals. The Country Veterinary Organisation should supervise the medical and sanitary requirements for production, import, export and release of the alive or dead wildlife. The license for carrying the hunting weapons is also regulated under this Regulation. This Regulation repeals the Regulation dated 03 January 1968 and its subsequent amendments. The latest amendment provides that the Supreme Council for Environmental Protection sets the spatial, temporal, and species-specific regulations for hunting and fishing within the framework of the law and announces them publicly through the Official Gazette and the organization's website. Based on these regulations, the organization issues hunting and fishing permits.
