Abstract
This Regulation governs the import of animal products for personal consumption into Iceland by incorporating relevant EEA/EU rules (notably Commission Regulation (EC) No. 745/2004), while clarifying that Icelandic food safety and animal disease control laws continue to apply, including any stricter additional conditions for certain products; enforcement is entrusted to the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority, with penalties for non-compliance.
