Abstract
Pursuant to the provisions contained in Directives 2004/1/EC, 2004/13/EC and 2004/19/EC, this Decree, on the basis of new information which has been acquired, updates Ministerial Decree of 21 March 1973 concerning the hygiene requirements of packages, containers and tools destined to come into contact with food or substances for personal use. Furthermore, amendments and addenda regarding substances that may be used in the manufacture of products destined to come into contact with foodstuffs are laid down also to Decree No. 220 of 1993, Decree No. 210 of 2000 and Decree No. 123 of 2003, under which Ministerial Decree of 21 March 1973 has been amended.
