Abstract
The present Regional Act lays down rules intended for the definition of the hunting calendar. Part I of the Act establishes the hunting season (from the third Sunday of September until 31 January). Hunting licensees are entitled to hunt three days a week. Article 2 fixes the hours during which hunting is permitted. Part II of the Act specifies the hunting gear and methods which are allowed or forbidden (art. 3) as well as the total allowable catch as per specific wildlife species. Part III concerns the hunting calendar. In particular, article 7 defines hunting periods and designates the species that may be harvested. Part IV lays down some amendments to Regional Act No. 3 of 12 January 1994. Part V contains some general provisions referring to, for instance, the introduction of game into the Territorial Hunting Areas (ATC). Article 14 sets forth the penalties to be applied in case of violation of these provisions.
