Abstract
This Act makes provision for the control of the movement and importation of bees in order to protect them from diseases.
The Act grants powers to the Minister to prescribe measures for preventing introduction and spreading of diseases affecting bees and the Governor-General may appoint persons to carry into effect provisions of this Act. The Act defines duties of owners of apiaries. The Minister may make Rules relative to the transportation of bees.
