Pest Control Products (Disposal) Regulations, Legal Notice no. 103 of 2024.

These Regulations, made by the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development under section 15 of the Pest Control Products Act, provide for safe disposal of obsolete and non-compliant pest control products and their packages to safeguard human health, animal health and the environment. The Regulations concern: hazardous waste; transboundary movement of waste; recycling; licensing of facilities for disposal of obsolete and non-compliant pest control products; methods of disposal of pest control products and packages, including recycling and incineration; disposal of pest control products and measures to ensure the protection of the environment, and the safeguard of animal and human health; application for pest control products disposal licence; management of empty pest control products packaging; revocation and cancellation of licences; penalties and offences.
