Pest Control Products Act (Cap. 346).

This Act regulates the production and placing on the market of a product, device, organism, substance or thing that is manufactured, represented, sold or used as a means for directly or indirectly controlling, preventing, destroying, attracting or repelling any pest and establishes a Pest Control Products Board for this purpose.
As a general rule, the Act prescribes that no person shall manufacture, package, store, display, distribute, import, sell or use or advertise any pest control product except in accordance with conditions prescribed by Regulations made under this Act. The Board shall consist of Government officers and representatives of the industry and shall: (a) assess and evaluate pest control products; (b) consider applications for registration of pest control products; (c) advise the Minister on applications for registration and on all matters relating to the enforcement of the provisions of this Act and Regulations made under the Act. The Minister shall appoint inspectors and analysts or the purposes of this Act. The Act defines the powers of inspectors in respect of the control of production and placing on the market of pest control products.
