The Pest Control Products (Disposal) Regulations, Legal Notice no. 191 of 2024.

These Regulations, made by the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development under section 15 of the Pest Control Products Act, provide for: safe disposal of obsolete and non-compliant pest control products and their packages to safeguard human health and the environment; licensing of facilities for disposal of obsolete and noncompliant pest control products and packages; methods of disposal of pest control products and packages. The Regulations concern: hazardous waste; transboundary movement of waste; recycling; issuance of application for pest control products disposal licence; management of empty pest control product packaging; supervision of disposal of pest control products; revocation and cancellation of licences; penalties and offences.
