Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development under section 15 of the Pest Control Products Act, provide for measures to safeguard human health and environment from hazards associated with labelling and advertising of pest control products. The Regulations concern: requirements and standards related to labelling and packaging of pest control products; authentication of all pest control products released into the market; promotion of ethical standards in labelling, advertising and packaging; advertising procedure of pest control products to mitigate disinformation to the general public; label prohibition and approval procedure; information identifying any significant hazards in relation to handling, storage, display, distribution and disposal of the pest control product; classification of chemicals according to their impact on health and the environment; toxicological information.
