Law No. 144-VII “On amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of livestock breeding and biofuel circulation”.

Article 1 of the Law No. 278-1 on pedigree stockbreeding shall be supplemented with the following wording: “Breeding center shall be intended a legal entity that has notified the authorized body about the beginning (termination) of activities for keeping breeding animals – manufacturers involved in receiving, accumulating, purchasing, storing and sale of semen of breeding animals - producers, embryos. Genomic assessment shall be intended predictive assessment of genetic value selected animal traits based on their genomic information, carried out in the manner determined by the authorized body. Molecular genetic examination shall be intended study of biological animal material, carried out in order to assess the reliability of its origin and (or) detection of genetic abnormalities”. Article 6 of the Law No. 66-3 on state regulation of the development of agro-industrial complex and rural areas shall be supplemented with the following wording: “The competence of the authorized body in the field of agro-industrial development includes development and approval of the procedure for concluding an agreement with manufacturers of chocolate, sugary confectionery, cookies and flour products of shelf-stable storage for the purposes of inclusion of additional amount of value added tax as an offset against further payments”. Article 11 of Law No. 351-IV ZRK “On state regulation of manufacturing and trade of biofuel” shall be amended to add the following wording: “In the process of manufacturing and trade (circulation) of biofuel shall be prohibited to sell biofuel to persons not engaged in manufacturing of biofuel and (or) compounding of petroleum products, and (or) manufacturing of products of chemical and related industries, with the exception of export of biofuel in the presence of appropriate documents, unless otherwise provided for by this Law”.
