Ministerial Decree No. 408 validating the Regulation on subsidizing the increase of aquaculture (fish farming) productivity and quality.

This Regulation determines the procedure for granting budget subsidies to increase productivity and quality of aquaculture (fish farming) products to the producers through and within the limits of funds provided for in the local budget for the respective fiscal year. Subsidies are destined for producers to reduce aquaculture (fish farming) production costs through reimbursement of 30 percent of expenses for the purchase of fodder used in growing of sturgeon, salmon and carp species and their hybrids. Subsidies are payable subject to the following conditions: (a) submission of the application by the producer of commodities according to the form, contained in the Annex, in electronic format through the web portal of "e-government"; (b) registration of the application in the subsidy information system; (c) availability of personal account in the information system of subsidizing; (d) confirmation of purchase of fodder by the commodity producer; (e) confirmation of the production of fish products in fourth quarter of the previous year and/or in the current year; (f) confirmation of information on the origin of fish grown in artificial conditions; and (g) confirmation of information on artificial animal breeding, the types of which are listed in Annexes I and II of the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. The Regulation contains calculation formula for subsidies.
