Abstract
The objective of this Law is to establish principles and regulations that foster a conducive environment for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) growth, including improved access to finance, technology, and markets.
Businesses are categorized as "Micro," "Small," or "Medium" based on specific thresholds regarding the number of employees, annual revenue, or total assets. The state prioritizes MSME development through targeted policies, including tax incentives, credit facilities, and infrastructure support. Promotion Measures include: Utilization of the MSME Promotion Fund to provide low-interest loans and credit guarantees; Provision of training in entrepreneurship, management, and specialized technical skills; Facilitating participation in trade fairs, e-commerce adoption, and integration into regional and global value chains. The amended Law specifically emphasizes the adoption of modern technology and digital tools to increase productivity and operational efficiency. It encourages informal businesses to register formally by simplifying administrative procedures and offering "one-stop-service" registration models.
