Resolution No.790 of 2017 amending Resolution No.1048 of 2016 to prevent the registration and importation of harmful pesticides.

This Resolution consisting of 5 articles aims at excluding from the lists that ban the import of pesticides to Lebanon the agricultural medicines that prove to be still registered and used in a reference country, in accordance with the registration requirements contained in resolution 310/1 of 2010. The necessary laboratory tests shall be carried out on the technical materials used in the preparation of pesticides, on imported agricultural pesticides, whether from reference or non-reference countries, prepared locally in relation to impurities, according to the FAO standards.
