Abstract
The objective of the present Act is to promote the improvement of the energy performance of buildings in Liechtenstein, taking into account outdoor climatic and local conditions, as well as indoor climate requirements and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, the Act enforces the Directive 2002/91/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 16 December 2002 on the energy performance of buildings. The text consists of 11 articles as follows: Object and purpose (1); Sphere of application (2); Terms and designations (3); Submission of energy pass (4); Obligatory publication of energy pass (5); Content and exhibition of the energy pass (6); Calculation of the total energy performance (7); Penalties (8); Implementing provisions (9); Transitional provisions (10); Entry into force (11).
