Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the discharge of waste into the environment.
Wastes which may cause pollution or cause noise pollution may be discharged, deposited or emitted only under the authority of an Environmental Protection Licence issued by the Central Environmental Authority, and in accordance with the standards and criteria specified in Schedule I attached to these Regulations. Requirements and procedures for applying for a licence are specified in the text.
