Abstract
The FDA is empowered in this Regulation to prescribe new fees for permits for minor forest products, producers and harvesters. Minor forest products are non-timber products such as rattan, charcoal, bamboo, palm wine, high forest tree seeds, honey, wild fruits, etc. The rationale behind this measure is to reduce the activity of production or harvesting of these products out of concern for the conservation of the biodiversity of Liberia.
