Abstract
The Charter of the Public Institution “Unit for the Implementation of Environmental Projects” regulates the mission, areas of competence, main functions and rights of the Public Institution “Unit for the Implementation of Environmental Projects”, as well as the organization of its activities. The founder of the Public Institution “Unit for the Implementation of Environmental Projects” is the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. Areas of competence of the Public Institution “Unit for the Implementation of Environmental Projects” are: (a) prevention of environmental pollution; (b) protection of atmospheric air, ozone layer and climate change; (c) water resources management; (d) conservation of biodiversity and management of natural areas protected by the state; (e) waste and chemicals management; and (f) biosecurity.
