Government Decree No. HG711/2022 validating the Regulation on the procedure for administration of the National environmental fund.

This Government Decree regulates the procedure for administering the National environmental fund, including the creation, organization, operation and management of financial resources of the National environmental fund, the procedure for identifying, assessing, selecting, approving, concluding contracts and monitoring the implementation of projects in the field of environmental protection, as well as post-implementation evaluations. The National environmental fund is established within the state budget and is intended exclusively to finance projects in the field of environmental protection, climate change and sustainable management of natural resources. The Fund is administered by the Supervisory Committee of the public institution “National Bureau for the Implementation of Environmental Projects”. The National Bureau ensures accounting and monitoring of the implementation of selected and approved projects and sends payment requests to the Ministry of Environment along with supporting documents approved by the management of the National Bureau for making transfers (payments) from the Fund.
