Government Decree No. HG538/2023 establishing the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center Public Institution.

These Regulation determines the mission, areas of activity, functions and rights, management, financing, property and accounting of public institution "Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center", a budgetary institution financed from the state budget pertaining to the area of competence of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. The mission of the Center is to ensure the development of services for consulting in the field of agriculture and rural areas, focused on the needs of farmers, which will facilitate their access to technical economic, financial, management information, training programs and rural development programs. The activities of the Center are: (a) provision of technical, economic, financial and managerial advisory services to farmers; (b) organization of training programs for farmers in accordance with the state government policy for sustainable development of agriculture in medium and long term; (c) coordination of the advisory activities of farmers planned within technical assistance projects; and (d) consolidation and management of the agricultural advisory system and rural areas by facilitating and promoting partnerships between business environment/associations/federations, educational institutions and/or institutions in the field of research and innovation, other interested parties to develop extension services to advise farmers.
