Law No. LP259/2023 amending some legislative acts.

Article 6 of the Law No. 440-XIII on water conservation zones and water belts of rivers and waterbodies shall be amended to add the following wording: “In the relevant water protection zones it is permitted to construct temporary berths for mooring ships, landing and disembarkation of people, for loading, unloading and storing goods, for carrying out economic activities and customs procedures. In the water protection zones of the Dniester, Prut and Danube rivers it is allowed construction and arrangement of roads providing communication between temporary berths and public roads. On the Dniester and Prut rivers, a 30-meter strip from the water's edge within water protection zone can be used to ensure navigation safety and arrangement of temporary berths." Article 14 of the Law No. 440-XIII on water conservation zones and water belts of rivers and waterbodies shall be amended to add the following wording: “Within these strips can only be built and/or equipped with protective and bank protection hydraulic structures; places for fish to pass (dams, blind areas, retaining walls, sluices, etc.) and temporary structures and installations for growing and catching fish and aquatic animals; water intakes and mobile installations for the purpose of supplying the population with water and irrigating agricultural lands; temporary installations for arranging temporary berths for the purpose of landing and disembarking people, loading, unloading and storing cargo and for carrying out activities economic activities and carrying out customs procedures with preliminary notification to the administrative body for water resources management.” Article 38 of the Law No. 149-XVI on fish stock, fisheries and fish farming shall be amended to add the following wording: “By way of derogation, the provisions of items e) (related to parking of water transport within zones prohibited for fishing, with the exception of places intended for installation of buoys, as well as for parking in extreme cases (fog, storm, accident), and item w) (related to the use of water vehicles by private individuals in natural fishing waterbodies during the period of fishing ban and in places prohibited for fishing) of paragraph (1) do not apply in relation to the rivers Dniester, Danube and Prut."
