Decree on objects and materials that come into contact with food that can be placed on the market.

This Decree determines the types and necessary rules as regards the articles and materials that can come into direct and/or indirect contact with food (also packaging materials, and materials also used during various stages of production, preparation and processing of food that will be placed on the market).
This text further defines the correct manner for marking and labelling of such materials, including the procedures for the implementation and effective application of the good manufacturing practice.
This Decree transposes the rules contained in the Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 2004 on materials and articles which come into contact with food; and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006 of 22 December 2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles that come into contact with food.
