Abstract
This Regulation determines the detailed conditions (technical, sanitary, logistic) for importing birds in the Republic of Montenegro.
This Regulation also sets the rules and administrative form of veterinary certificate that is necessary for the authorized import of animals of the Aves class, other than poultry.
These rules are not meant for livestock/poultry, pet birds, competition pigeons that are supposed to get back to the country of origin if other than Montenegro.The Annex is an integrated part of this text.
The Regulation further transposes the contents and principles of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 139/2013 laying down animal health conditions for imports of certain birds into the Union and the quarantine conditions thereof.
The Annex is an integrated part of this text. The Annex sets out the form of animal health certificate for imports of certain birds, including information on CITES permit if applicable, and underlines that the transport of CITES-listed bird species shall be carried out according to the CITES Guidelines for Transport.
