Abstract
This Regulation determines the exact types of food aromas that can be used in food production on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro.
The rules here stipulated are aimed to define concrete conditions for the controlled, monitored, programmed and safe use and consequential labelling of all additives intended to be used on foodstuff (products that are added to food in order to give and/or change the odor and/or taste and are not intended for direct consumption).
This text also transposes the rules contained in the Regulation (EC) no. 1334/2008 of the European Parliament and the Council on flavorings and certain food ingredients with flavoring properties for food use; and Regulation (EC) no. 2065/2003 of 10 November 2003 on smoke flavorings used or intended for use in or on food.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
