Abstract
This Regulation determines the manner and scope of sanitary and technological testing over the effective water quality on water catch sites, on waters used by companies and other legal entities, in order to grant the sanitary water security and to deliver the necessary data on water quality.
These rules are aimed for water intended for direct or indirect human consumption, including the waters used for food production or processing.
This text adopts the rules contained in the Council Directive 98/83/EC of 3 November 1998 on the quality of water intended for human consumption.
The Annex is part of the publication (technological and technical parameters for water quality tests).
