Regulation on the manner of carrying out veterinary inspections of consignments of products of animal origin entering in Montenegro.

This Regulation hereby prescribes the correct manner for performing the necessary veterinary examination of animal origin products that are entering (import) on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro (including some particular categories such as food intended for free zone destinations, warehouse or customs warehouse for direct supply of maritime transports in international traffic and other).
This Regulation transposes certain rules contained in the Directive 97/78/EC of 18 December 1997 laying down the method for carrying out veterinary checks on products imported into the Community from third countries; Directive 89/662/EEC of 11 December 1989 related to veterinary checks in intra-Community with a view to creating a single internal market; Council Directive 90/425/EEC of 26 July 1990 on the veterinary and zootechnical checks applicable to trade in certain live animals and products within the Community in order to establish an internal market.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
