Abstract
This Regulation prescribes measures for the systematic monitoring (hereinafter referred to as: monitoring) of residues in animals and products of animal origin, the conditions and manner of implementing the measures, the control methods, the conditions and manner of taking, storing samples and keeping records of samples, and the conditions and manner of implementing the measures taken when it is determined that the amount of residues exceeds the maximum permitted amount. Pharmacologically active substances approved as veterinary medicinal products or as feed additives and the use of prohibited or unapproved pharmacologically active substances and their residues in live animals and products of animal origin that are controlled are given in Annex 1 of this text.
