Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the necessary criteria to be used as identifying and classifying method as regards the classification of chemical substances.
This text divides such substances into different groups as follows: persistent, bioaccumulative, toxic, highly persistent and highly bioaccumulative. This text further offers the specific chemical testing criteria for each group.
These rules are meant for all types of organic materials, including organometals.
